Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and [Bibling LLC, a [State] limited liability company] ("Bibling", "we", "us"). They cover the Bibling iPhone app, the website at biblingapp.com and everything we provide through them (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Highlighted brackets mark details our legal counsel will complete before launch. Nothing else in this document changes when they are filled in.
1. Who may use Bibling
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. The Service is offered in the United States and in English.
2. Your account
You sign in with Apple, Google or an email address and password. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us at support@biblingapp.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us. You may not create an account for someone else or use another person's account without their permission.
3. Subscriptions and free trial
Parts of the Service are free. Other parts need a paid subscription called Bibling Premium, sold as a monthly or an annual plan through Apple's App Store. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
- Free trial. The annual plan may include a free trial. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your Apple ID account is charged.
- Cancelling. You manage and cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings under Subscriptions, not in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds. Purchases are made through Apple, and Apple handles refunds under its own terms. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, and fees already paid are not refunded when you cancel, except where the law requires it.
- Price changes. If we change the price of a subscription, the new price applies from your next renewal after Apple notifies you, and you may cancel before then.
- Quotas. Some features, such as the number of voiced personal prayers in a month, have limits that the app shows you. Unused allowances do not carry over.
4. Your licence to use the Service
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, and to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, as long as you follow these terms. The Service and its contents, including sung prayers, recordings, lyrics, artwork, text, software and trademarks, belong to Bibling or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Scripture is quoted from public-domain translations. Except for the licence above, nothing in these terms gives you any right to the Service or its contents. You may not copy, record, redistribute, sell, modify, reverse engineer or make derivative works of any part of the Service, or use it to train or build a competing product.
5. What you share with us
When you write an intention or edit a prayer, that text is yours. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, reproduce and transmit it only as needed to provide the Service to you, such as to write and voice your prayer, to keep your saved prayers, and to maintain and secure the Service. You confirm that what you share is yours to share and does not violate anyone's rights or the law. We do not publish your intentions or prayers and we do not use them to advertise to you.
6. Generated and voiced prayers
Personal prayers are written and read aloud with the help of third-party artificial-intelligence services, from the words you give and the Scripture you choose. They are generated text and synthetic speech, not the words of a pastor, counsellor or any person. Generated text can be imperfect, repetitive or wrong, and it may not fit your situation or beliefs. You decide what to keep, what to edit and what to pray. We make no promise about the accuracy, suitability or effect of any generated prayer, and we are not responsible for how you use one.
7. Not medical, mental-health or professional advice
Bibling is a devotional companion. It is not a healthcare, mental-health, counselling, pastoral, legal or financial service, and it does not provide advice, diagnosis or treatment of any kind. Nothing in the Service is a substitute for care from a qualified professional or for guidance from your own faith community. We make no claims about outcomes of any kind, including health, well-being, relationships or circumstances. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or others, call or text 988 in the United States, call 911, or contact your local emergency services right away. Do not rely on the Service in an emergency.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to do anything unlawful, harmful or deceptive, including: submitting content that is threatening, harassing, hateful, obscene or that infringes someone's rights; impersonating anyone; probing, scraping, overloading or interfering with the Service or its security; circumventing limits, pricing or access controls; using automated tools to access the Service; or helping anyone else do these things. We may review content submitted to the Service when needed to protect people or to investigate misuse, and we may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Apple for distribution and billing, sign-in providers, and the AI and voice services described above. The Service may also link to websites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for third-party services, their content or their terms, and your use of them is between you and the third party.
10. Changes to the Service and to these terms
We may add, change or remove features, content and plans at any time, including prayers, themes and voices. If a change materially reduces what your paid subscription includes, you may cancel before your next renewal. We may also change these terms. If a change is material, we will post the new terms here with a new date and tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the new terms.
11. Ending your account
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Profile in the app. Deleting your account removes your prayers, history and account data within 24 hours, as described in the Privacy policy; it does not cancel a subscription, which you cancel in your iPhone's Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we must by law, or if we stop offering the Service. Sections 4 to 7 and 12 to 17 continue to apply after your account ends.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY CONTENT, INCLUDING GENERATED PRAYERS, WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIBLING AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND [$100]. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Bibling and its owners, employees, contractors and licensors from any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or of the law, or from content you submit.
15. Disputes and governing law
If you have a problem, write to us first at support@biblingapp.com and we will try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

16. Apple's terms
The app is distributed through Apple's App Store, and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of it. These terms are between you and Bibling only; Apple is not a party to them and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo or on any U.S. list of prohibited or restricted parties.
17. General
These terms and the Privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and Bibling about the Service. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor of the Service. Notices to you may be given in the app or to the email on your account.
